Lowen Cottage is ideally situated for access to most parts of south Cornwall. The whole area is wonderful for walking, with the Cornish Coastal Path close by. There are several sub-tropical gardens and National Trust Properties within easy reach, and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, Goonhilly Downs Earth Station, Gweek Seal Sanctuary and Flambards Theme Park, are a short drive away. Sailing, windsurfing, fishing, golf and riding are also available, plus the Trengilly Wartha, an award winning pub, down the lane. The cathedral city of Truro is only a 25 minute drive away and the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan at St.Austell, and Tate St.Ives are each approximately 45 minutes away.
